Invoicing app FAQ and setup help
Find quick answers below. For full workflows, open the app guide.
Is this a subscription invoicing app?
No. Thicc Books is a one-time purchase ($9.99).
Who should use this app?
Contractors, tradesmen, and small business owners who need fast invoicing and simple bookkeeping.
What devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad in the Apple ecosystem.
How do I send an invoice?
Create invoice, add line items, tap Share, and send the PDF.
Can I use credits or discounts?
Yes. Use credits or negative line items to reduce totals.
Can I attach receipts?
Yes. Receipt photos can be attached and included in invoice PDFs.
Does data sync across devices?
Yes. Enable iCloud sync in your Apple account.
Can I import old invoice data?
Yes. CSV import supports common exports plus a generic mapper.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected].
Do you collect or sell my data?
No. Thicc Books does not use analytics or ad SDKs to collect your business data. Information stays on your device and in your iCloud account. See the Privacy Policy on the website.
What is “crypto” on an invoice PDF?
An optional section in Settings adds receive address and approximate coin amounts on invoice PDFs only. It does not change your fiat books or tax reporting in the app.
Can I duplicate an invoice or estimate?
Yes. Open the document, tap ⋯, choose Duplicate—the app creates a new draft with the next number and copies lines and client; attachments are not duplicated.
How does optional job-site time tracking work?
Per invoice you can turn on Track time at job site. The app uses the client’s street address to geocode a fence (~120 m). Enter/exit events on your phone record billable time on-device (no GPS sent to us). Labor is summarized into invoice lines by day with your rate and crew count. Short exits can be ignored so material runs don’t break the clock. See the App Guide for details.
Can I import many material receipt photos at once?
Yes. In the invoice editor use Import material receipts, pick multiple photos, and the app runs on-device OCR to read totals. You review, group by day, optionally apply markup, then merge into line items for the job. Receipt images can attach to the invoice for your PDF.
